Shanks vs Mihawk is just haki slash 1, haki slash 2, haki slash 3

Akainu and Aokiji may or may not have awakenings that shake things up a little

Plus we’d get to see the moments that left both fighters permanently scarred

Yeah but at this point of the story and after almost 1100 chapters I'm not interested in seeing fights that don't serve the plot. It is just a waste of time.
If Oda draws it as a spin off after OP is over, why not though?

Sakazuki vs kuzan had weight to it with world changing consequences
Them fighting for the highest position you have have as a marine and them both leaving it with their bodies fucked up and scarred

It being one of the few times kuzan is deadly serious and passionate about something. Him losing a leg in the process and later becoming a blackbeard pirate
